Our grassroots adult programming offers something for every hockey player. From adult beginner instruction, to the most competitive adult league in Chicago and one of the largest of its kind in the nation, hockey players from all walks of the game have a reason to make Johnny’s their home away from home.

Adult Hockey 101/102/103
Johnny’s offers two levels of adult classes for beginners. Hockey 101 for true beginners and Hockey 102 for players with about six months experience. Coach Steve Baglio runs all classes and uses his years of hockey experience to help anyone learn the game.

Beginner 3v3 League
Johnny's Rat Hockey provides the best pick up games you'll find in the Chicagoland area. With varying times at both locations you’re sure to find a session that works with your schedule.

Johnny's Adult League
JAL is an invitational adult hockey league. We have a fall/winter season and a spring/summer season. With eight different divisions and well over 100 teams our adult leagues are the most competitive and well run leagues you will find.

Johnny's Elite League
Johnny's Elite League is comprised of former professional and college hockey players and is the highest level of amateur hockey in the Midwest. This league has teams that travel to compete against the best amateur teams in the country and have won several USA Hockey National Championships, including 2011.

Stick & Puck is hosted at Johnny’s East every Friday, from 8:30-9:30am. Brush up on your skills!
Johnny’s Adult League Free Agent Sign-Up
Submit your information, using this form, to be added to the free agents list. This list is shared with the Captains of our Adult and Elite Leagues so that they have contacts, should they be looking to bulk up their roster.
In the Subject line, detail in which league you’re looking to play.
In the Message field, provide your age, position, hockey background/experience, and highest level played.
Free Agency is open year round, players will be shared with captains only before roster freeze dates. Fall/Winter rosters freeze October 15th. Spring/Summer rosters freeze May 15th.
