Chicago Jets ADM is a CHICAGO JETS program, not a Johnny's Icehouse program. Please direct all questions to Jets Hockey Director Kent Allen This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

Following successful completion of the Junior Jets program kids are encouraged to join the Chicago Jets Hockey Club's Mite program, based on USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM).

The ADM format will consist of station-based on-ice skill development along with in-house small area game competition days. All participants in the ADM model should plan to be on the ice three days per week within the Jets ADM program, as well as participating in additional friendly cross-ice games with other organizations away Johnny's, the Jets' home rink. If you would like to learn more about the ADM format please visit http://www.admkids.com .

The ADM on-ice programming format is led by Chicago Jets Hockey Director Kent Allen. The programming is designed and implemented using the collective efforts of Jets coaches who currently coach our older teams at top levels in addition to working with our ADM program.

The ADM program is available to Mite players born between 2013 and 2014 who are ready to take the next step after completing Johnny's Junior Jets program. Players who enter the Jets ADM program will be divided into groups of similar skill sets within the ADM group to maximize development. All players would have had to participate in Johnny's Youth Program as a Junior Jet, or an equivalent program with another organization. The Chicago Jets work with Johnny's Ice House to evaluate incoming players, ensuring they have basic skating skills and attention span to participate in the Jets ADM program.

The Chicago Jets 2020-21 registration information will be listed on the Jets website http://www.chicagojetshockey.org soon.

FAQ ADM Questions:

Do I sign up or tryout?

If a player is born in 2013 or 2014, they are required to participate in clinics/tryouts as they could be placed on a Mite team.

If a player is born in 2015 or younger, it is highly reccomended - but not required - they do the clinics/tryouts. Clinics/tryouts give younger players a feel for the bigger ice and station-based practices and a chance to continue development before the season starts.

Any player with the aim of joining ADM without the prospect of joining a Mite team still needs to be evaluated once on the ice to make sure the program is a fit (either at a clinic/tryout, or through Johnny's Junior Jets program for 4-7 year olds).
