About our Leagues:

The JAL consists of seven primary divisions: A, B, B2, C, C2, C3, and Federal (FHL). We are home to a seasonal Elite League and a seasonal Over 40 Elite League. We also host a six-team 3v3 league for beginner hockey players.

With over 130 teams, Johnny's Adult League is the largest and most competitive adult hockey league in Chicagoland. To maintain competitive play, the league and its teams are monitored closely. We have strict rules on rosters in order to maintain parity among the divisions. We work hard to hold up our reputation that has deep roots in the Chicago hockey community.

Fall/Winter Session Spring/Summer Session

Individuals should fill out a Free Agent form below to be filed and shared with captains as they ask for players.

Please Be Specific with your age, position, and highest level played.

Free Agency is open year round, players will be shared with captains only before roster freeze dates. Fall/Winter rosters freeze October 15th. Spring/Summer rosters freeze May 15th.

Interested in Officiating? Johnny's Adult League does not require refs to be USA Hockey Certified but we do require a hockey background.

Friday morning stick and puck at johnny's East. 8:30am-9:30am. $15. Pucks and Nets and music. Go grab breakfast at The Palace Grill after the skate. Great way to start the weekend!

Advertise at the rink! Johnny's Adult League not only has 2,500 players that play in our leagues, but we also have many other customers that come through our doors. Including The Chicago Jets Hockey Club, Chicago Romans Hockey Club, De La Salle Hockey Club, DePaul University Hockey Club, Chicago Figure Skating Club, International Figure Skating Club, and many other group rentals and youth programs.
