• ABOUT JOHNNY´S ICEHOUSE •

The dedicated staff at both Johnny's IceHouse East and West are continuously working to promote core hockey values, sportsmanship, integrity, team work, and pure enjoyment of the game. Johnny's is home to 145 adult teams in nine divisions from Elite to Beginner.
In addition, Johnny's hosts and is founder of the Chicago Jets Youth Hockey Club. We are the home hockey rink for DePaul's ACHA DII hockey team, as well as the De La Salle and Chicago Romans high school teams. Johnny's is also home to two area figure skate clubs, Figure Skate Chicago and International Figure Skating. Johnny's IceHouse West was the official practice rink of the Chicago Blackhawks for eight years and three Stanley Cups, from 2010-2018.
GVN Performance, Official Coaches of the US National Team Development Program, became a partner of Johnny's in 2018. They have a state-of-the-art facility at our West location and their clientele includes professional players Ryan Hartman, Vinny Hinistroza, Al Montoya, Scott Gomez, Jake McCabe, Jack Hughes, Quinn Hughes and TJ Tynan.
Johnny's IceHouse offers a wide variety of clinics and programs for male and female hockey players of all ages and skill levels. We also host a variety of youth & adult hockey tournaments throughout the year, including a 34 team youth Thanksgiving tournament, a 26 team youth Christmas tournament, and a 16 team Adult Memorial Day tournament. Our ice is tirelessly maintained, and our facilities are always kept clean.
In addition to the East and West locations, Johnny's also includes our annex training rink, attached to the west wall of Johnny’s IceHouse West and can be entered from the garage, the rink level, and from Madison Street.
This newer addition, opened in 2014, gave us the opportunity to expand our adult beginner programs, youth programs as well as grow Chicago youth hockey even further. All Learn to Skate and Junior Jets classes are held at the training rink. Our highly skilled coaches are passionate and professional and take pride in developing young skaters and future hockey players.
The annex rink also includes a dry land training area for the Chicago Jets, providing shooting and stick handling stations as well as plyometric and weight training. Skates can be laced up in the lobby as well as a small locker room at the northeast corner of the rink. Also there is a mezzanine with bleachers overlooking the ice for parents to watch.
Programs are run out of both rinks allowing for extensive expansion of all leagues and classes.
